EMB Citrus operates a state-of-the-art nursery at its processing plant complex in Chongqing's Zhong County, producing 500,000 seedlings annually.

The nursery meets exacting standards for hygiene and seedling propagation and is regularly monitored by the Chongqing Municipal and Zhong County plant quarantine authorities. This ensures that the seedlings are of the highest quality.

The EMB Citrus nursery is the principal supplier of seedlings to the Zhong County government, which is planting approximately 1,000 hectares of new orange groves every year.

The nursery has a very active research and development program aimed at producing seedlings that are disease resistant, flourish in the local environment and improve juice quality. This enables us improve tree productivity and fruit quality.
